Sea to Me Blankets

Pure California. Hand-sewn with heart.

Founded seven years ago, Sea to Me sought to bring cozy, comfortable children's blankets and clothing to the Southern California market. Today, our focus is providing top-of-the-line, plush, uber-soft, luxury blankets made for everyone, everywhere.

All our blankets are hand-sewn in Los Angeles with the highest quality faux fur minky fabric that we've sourced directly from factories here and abroad.

We chose the name Sea to Me for the same reasons we moved to Los Angeles — the healing qualities of the sea. The blankets we create are named in homage to iconic California locations, such as Heavenly Hermosa, Big Sur Serenity, and Carmel Cuddle.

Women-Owned, Women-Empowered.

Luxury with Purpose, Comfort with Meaning.

The Beginning of Sea To Me

In 2018, Hollie returned to her creative roots and began making beach pants and blankets for her friends' children. When Tara's son wore a pair of these pants to Mardi Gras in Louisiana, people continuously stopped them on the street to photograph his unique and fun print pants. This moment marked the birth of Sea To Me.

Growing and Adapting

During the pandemic, Hollie and Tara recognized that the need for comfort extended beyond children and they shifted their focus to adult blankets. They wanted everyone to be able to close their eyes, snuggle under a blanket, and feel as if they were on vacation. Many customers have told them that their blankets are like the grown-up version of a beloved baby blanket — a comfort they want to take everywhere.

Our Commitment

What excites Hollie and Tara the most about their work is seeing the happiness and comfort their products bring to people. Many individuals have shared that their blankets comfort them during illness, even accompanying them to treatments. Providing this comfort is deeply important to them, so they are dedicated to using the finest quality fabrics and sewing each blanket in Los Angeles with the utmost attention to detail.

Women-Owned and Community-Minded

Hollie and Tara are proud to be a women-owned company, collaborating with other women — from their Los Angeles manufacturer and PR coordinator to their Chief of Technology. Gifting is central to their mission, and they have donated blankets to organizations such as the Torrance Memorial Hunt Cancer Center, Global Empowerment Mission, and to victims of the Los Angeles fires.
